bob

Features · under the hood

A calm front. A genuinely smart back.

Bob looks like a friendly chat. Behind that simplicity sits a careful reasoning pipeline, and one hard rule: a licensed human signs off before any advice reaches you.

How Bob thinks

From a sentence to a sound recommendation.

Every message runs the same disciplined path. The AI does the gathering and the groundwork; a person owns the judgement.

  1. Listen

    Understands what you need

Bob reads your own words and works out what you actually mean, the intent behind the message, not just keywords.

  2. Ask

    Asks only what matters

It picks the next question from a reviewed catalogue, adapting to your answers, one at a time, never a wall of fields.

  3. Capture

    Captures & scores confidence

Each answer becomes a structured field with a confidence score, so the system knows how sure it is, and where it isn't.

  4. Judge

    Knows its limits

An info-vs-advice boundary lets Bob answer factual questions but hold anything that counts as personalised advice for a human.

  5. Check

    Runs safety checks

Red-team checks plus replacement-cover and vulnerable-customer signals flag cases that need extra care before they go anywhere.

  6. Approve

    Hands to a human

A licensed adviser reviews the record, transcript and draft - then approves, edits or escalates. Nothing releases without them.

Regulated steps run on in-region (Australia/New Zealand) infrastructure, and personal details are redacted before they reach any model that doesn’t need them.

The boundary that matters

Bob never prices, and never advises, on its own.

The model can gather, explain and draft a recommendation. Setting a premium or releasing advice is reserved for a licensed adviser - every time, by design, not as a courtesy.
