Terms of service.

Scope
Per-brokerage MSA. Covers all surfaces (marketing site, dashboard, customer portal) and all voice handling. Governed by New Zealand law.

Service

Bob provides a multi-tenant SaaS platform for insurance brokerages, comprising the dashboard at bob.so/app, the customer portal at bob.so/portal, the public marketing site, and the underlying APIs. Tenant identity is inferred from authentication; data isolation is enforced at the database row level. Bob does not provide insurance advice and is not a financial service provider; brokerage tenants remain solely responsible for their advice and their licensing.

Voice consent

Using the voice twin requires the brokerage to obtain valid consent from every party before that party’s voice is cloned. Bob records consent via the dashboard and hash-chains the consent event to the audit ledger. Brokerages indemnify Bob against claims arising from a failure to obtain consent.

Data residency

Tenant data is hosted in auckland-1 by default. Australian tenants can elect sydney-1 at no cost. Multi-region replication is available on the Enterprise plan. We do not move data between regions without written consent.

Payment & billing

Per-seat billing on a monthly or annual cycle. Annual contracts get 14% off. Invoices issued via Stripe; failure to pay within 30 days suspends the tenant; suspension after 60 days terminates the agreement. Termination triggers an automatic data export and ledger anchor.

Uptime & SLA

Bob targets 99.95% uptime per quarter on the dashboard and 99.99% on the customer portal. Voice and vision pipelines target 99.9%. SLA credits are issued automatically against the ledger; see /status for live uptime.

Limitation of liability

Bob’s aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees paid in the prior 12 months. Bob is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. This limitation does not apply to wilful misconduct or breach of confidentiality.
